Abstrakt

W artykule zbadano przestrzeń semantyczną pojęć współczesnego brytyjskiego dyskursu politycznego. Zanalizowano podstawowe pojęcia RZĄDU, WYDARZEŃ POLITYCZNYCH, OBYWATELA i EKOLOGII w prasie brytyjskiej z uwzględnieniem: 1) cechy głównej, dominującej; 2) cech dodatkowych, „pasywnych”; 3) aktualizacji formy wewnętrznie ukrytej. Ustalono, że te cechy pozwalają na realizację konceptów na różnych poziomach, a także na odmienne postrzeganie ich przez nosicieli różnych kultur. Na podstawie analizy treści kontekstów współczesnej prasy brytyjskiej i sieci semantycznych skonstruowano model terenowy dyskursu politycznego współczesnej prasy brytyjskiej. Udowodniono, że wszystkie przedstawione subkoncepty znajdują się na końcowym etapie formowania się w brytyjskiej świadomości polityczno-lingwistycznej, na co wskazuje duże zagęszczenie obiektywizujących je leksemów dyskursu politycznego.
