Pojęcie „tutejszości” w komunikacji wizualnej w przestrzeni publicznej na Białorusi jako źródło wykluczenia

Czy obecność kilku języków w komunikacji wizualnej w przestrzeni publicznej oznacza tolerancję i równość między ich użytkownikami? Komunikacja wizualna w przestrzeni publicznej kreuje i wykorzystuje pojęcie przynależności do wspólnoty oraz konstruuje tożsamość. Tym samym wielojęzyczna komunikacja w przestrzeni publicznej może generować różne znaczenia i mechanizmy tożsamości. W artykule rekonstruuję znaczenia wytwarzane w komunikacji wizualnej w przestrzeni publicznej w dwóch okresach ożywienia narodowego na Białorusi (lata 20. XX wieku i okres od lat 90. XX wieku do roku 2010) oraz koncepcję tożsamości lokalnej, jaką budowały. Pokazuję, w jaki sposób były one kształtowane i jakie mechanizmy wykluczenia były wytwarzane w stosunkowo różnych kontekstach kulturowych, aby zachować wielojęzyczność w komunikacji w przestrzeni publicznej. W tym celu porównuję szyldy miejskie i materiały drukowane z obu okresów.
